The label team is driven by students and guided by staff with over 30 years of music industry experience, encompassing live performance, web design, and artist and record label management. Everyone participates in the music distribution process to commercially release your music, which supports your development and profile as a creative recording artist and performer.

We have over 30 years of record label and music industry experience, spanning live performance, artist, event and rights management.  Our goal is to share this knowledge with you, giving you a solid and safe platform to produce, perform and release your music into the global marketplace. 

Pete Jenkinson

Pete founded the acclaimed dance record label Paper Recordings in the early nineties. It has now released over 2000 tracks, streamed over 60 million times, and been created by over 500 artists, producers, and remixers from over 50 countries. His visual accomplishments include producing the award-winning documentary films, Northern Disco Lights & Wild Water.

David Cummins

Co-manager of 1043 Recordings, Dave works across label operations and promotes the Riverside Live music video series. Having been a songwriter since the 1970s, he co-organises (and regularly performs at) the label's 6UP Live Events at The Eagle Inn in Salford. He is actively involved in the British Albanian Arts Association as a board trustee.
